Denise Gonzalez
Denise has always been a take charge kind of leader. Denise served her country in the Marine Corps, serving as logistics specialist in the 10th Marine Regiment 2nd Marine Division out of Camp Lejeune. After her service in the Marines, Denise went to work on building a stronger South Jersey – literally. As a journeyman/wireman in IBEW 351, Denise worked on major projects like the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, Cooper Hospital, Exxon Mobil, and Rutgers University.
Now, as a single mother of two, Denise is driven to fight for a better South Jersey for her young family. She’s running for State Assembly to improve access to education, give law enforcement the tools they need to keep us safe, and to make New Jersey more affordable.
When she’s not raising her family or on the campaign trail, Denise serves her community – preparing and delivering meals to seniors, veterans, and the disabled in Camden and Gloucester Counties.
